BUX Certification is administered by Fintech Labs which has been evaluating online and mobile banking user experience for more than 15 years. Its mission is to make digital banking more intuitive, easier to use and widely adopted. To that end, the company recently launched a worldwide accreditation program to recognize the best of the best in digital banking.

Before a financial institution can be considered for BUX Certification they contract with BUX Advisors for a thorough analysis of their online and mobile banking along with their public website. More than 400 factors are evaluated and scored. Financial institutions achieving a score of 80% or higher earn the designation BUX Certified: Excellence in Digital Banking.
